Ion-drift gas detector IDG-010 (new design)

Gas detector IDG-010 is a small-size portable automation device besed on protected industry standard "Getac" A 760 notebook computer by Mitac. The device is equipped with in-built aspirator and rechargeable batteries providing self-sufficient operation in field conditions. The purpose of the gas detector is location and identification of hazardous, toxic and poison gases in common air and working area air.

Operation of the Gas detector is based on the principle of spectrometry of mobile ions. The advantage of such approach is achieving high sensitivity omitting preliminary processing and concentrating of samples (ppb level detection range) at shorter testing time (one testing cycle amounts 10-30 sec.). The detector is easy to operate. Today this analyticcal technology provides best results in express quality detection of poison-gases, explosives and narcotics as well as pharmacological analysis.

Priority (hazardous and poisonous) substances detection limits - 0,01 - 0,001 mg/m³

Detection time: up to 120 seconds (if substance concentration is within detection limits). Sound alarm is started if priority substances detected.

Gas detector has in-built sensors of temperature, pressure and humidity for evaluation of the environmental influence on test results.

Self-sufficient operation time in normal conditions not less than 4 hours.

Gas detector IDG-010 is controlled by computer via MS Windows operation system. It has self-diagnosis and fault monitoring functions. The control software is launched automatically when the system is switched on. Switching on/off and changing modes of operation is done in a dialog mode. The software provides fast and easy updating of the substances database which extends analytical capabilities of the detector.

Guaranteed life time 18 months. After-sales service is provided by manufacturer. Service life not less than 5 years.
